Ever since its conception ACTS has striven to support those most in need. Over the years we have developed working relationships with those we have helped, some of whom now help us, also with organisations within governments and like minded charities. We have started projects and seen them to their ultimate conclusion. Further to these we have projects in operation today and others in development which are going through further planning or that just need the finances to make them happen.
Please look at what we are doing in the communities of Burundi, Uganda and Kenya and remember that as we get more information these pages will be updated accordingly.
The Neema Mission Centre was started in 2010 by Pastor Stephen Dhairawa with support from Reverend D Kevin Jones of the Methodist Church in the UK, Reverend Remmie Fredrick Mufamba, and the Methodist Church Iganga Central. Neema Mission Centre is dedicated to providing nutrition, education, support and protection for the impoverished and unfortunate of the Iganga area of Uganda, especially the widows and orphans of AIDS/HIV.
The Herridge Technical School is one of our key projects and was conceived, designed, built and is fully funded by Africa Christian Teaching Service. Opened in 2007 in Karusi, Burundi, our school has provided higher education, training and food to nourish the body and the mind for an holistic education. Our mission is to help lift the most vulnerable children out of poverty by opening up opportunities through equipping them with education and life skills
